Studies show that at least 75% of mental and physical illness comes as a result of negative thinking and stress. To compound the problem, chronic stress causes extreme damage to your brain over time.
In this workshop, you will learn how social interaction, laughter, and good attitudes positively impacts your brain function. You will also learn how physical exercise engages your brain’s “feel good” centers, releases “happy-making” chemicals, and increases your anabolic energy!

Learning Outcomes:
Facilitator: The workshop facilitator is a highly trained health system cognitive rehabilitation and wellness specialist and a health system consultant. She is also a credentialed coach with experience in life transitions, emotional agility, and resilience.
Suggested Program Format: (Three 3-hour sessions with spacing between sessions for completing assignments and processing learning.)
Prerequisites: The Octane for the Brain Foundations Workshop is a recommended prerequisite.
