I loved what I learned in the Octane for the Brain workshops. It was fun to get acquainted with others in my class. Jeanie gave great information, but she also made it interesting. I looked forward each week to her knowledgeable guidance and grace. She not only gets the information, she understands the emotional side of aging and the changes we experience. That was helpful. The activities were outstanding and fun, too.
The MindZone Octane for the Brain Master Mind workshop not only changed my life. It may have saved it. I can't tell you how timely this information was and how your inspiration during these three sessions helped me learn and reconfigure my mindset. I took the Octane for the Brain Foundations workshop at COCC. By the last class I realized I had a new perspective on aging. It's far more positive, and I am motivated to keep "developing" as Jeanie suggested. I recommend this course to aging adults as well as anyone who has older family members. It was very helpful in many areas.
I want to thank our event planner for inviting Jeanie McKay to do an Octane for the Brain workshop during the days of the retreat. WOW! I think everyone loved the emphasis on how the Body, Mind, and Spirit need to align for healthy living. This was very insightful training, and I think everyone I talked to feels the same way. It would be great if she could return next year and talk more about this fascinating stuff.
I've never taken a class like Octane for the Brain "Master Mind" before. They should teach this in school. I now better understand how to manage my emotions, and I understand the impact of stress and victim thinking on the brain. I am going to put the learning about resilience into action as well. Thanks so much for presenting this workshop to our church group.
I wanted to send you this e-mail to thank you for inspiring my mom. She went with a friend to your workshop at the college. Now she's telling ME how to care for MY brain. I love it! She signed up for a Yoga for Seniors class and she is writing her life story (with pictures included) for the family. What a great legacy. I'll keep you updated.
